Where Can I Serve?
Jesus told us, his disciples, to make disciples of all nations. One of the most important values of this church is to serve both the body of Christ, serve the Lord by honoring and praising then name of Jesus Christ and lastly serving in outreach to evangelize and preach the gospel to the lost by being witnesses of our Saviour Jesus Christ.
Mission Outreach
We are active in supporting numerous missionaries/ministries monetarily and prayerfully. Many of these are within the United States, but also International Missions and Ministries as well. We encourage all of our people to respond to God’s call for laborers, whether it means they move to a foreign country or live locally spreading the gospel in our community by means of tract distribution, nursing home visitation, sign evangelism, street preaching or other community outreach.
Music
God-honoring praise is something we strive for. Through praise and worship time, we get the chance to bless the Lord and give Glory to the Lord Jesus Christ through singing hymns and spiritual songs(Eph 5:19). Many church members get involved in our music ministry. Some play their instruments. Some are vocalists. These memebers are an important part of the ministry of our church, using their talents and gifts to glorify God only and not themselves with the additional purpose to edify the body of Christ.
Media & Technology
Using media to spread the gospel is a privilege of this church. In an age of widespread technology, we have a stewardship to use these tools as best as possible for allowing everyone to hear sermon studies and also get God’s word spread digitally. All of our weekly sermons are uploaded to our website in audio formats. We maintain sermon audio exclusively on our website.
Prayer Warriors
Prayer cannot be overestimated. Prayer moves the hand of God. It is the vertical (upward) relationship part in the Christian life. Grace Gospel Church is a body of believers’ dependent upon prayer and committed to striving for the will of God. His word says to “pray without ceasing”. Each Sunday prior to the service we have prayer for the ministry of the word. We are all told by the Lord Jesus Christ to pray for one another. Throughout the week, we as a body are praying for church leadership, a list of church members, other special requests, salvation for the lost, and missionary needs. Each Thursday, the church comes together for a special time of prayer and Bible study. A prayer sheet is always being updated with new prayers for the sick, any upcoming surgeries, spiritual strength for believers and above all, salvation for the lost who do not know Jesus Christ as their Savior. We also give praise of thanksgiving for answered prayer through our testimony time.
